Website Service Agreement

Northern Pines Web, a sole proprietorship operated by Dane Danielson ("we"), and the business purchasing a website ("you"). Paying through our checkout link means you agree to these terms.

In short: $750 one-time to build your website, then $50 a month for hosting, security and updates. Cancel the monthly plan anytime. Your business content stays yours.

1. What we build

A custom, mobile-friendly website for your business (typically one page with sections for your services, service area, contact details and a tap-to-call button), based on the free preview we showed you plus the changes you ask for. We go live within about 7 days after we receive your payment and the details we need from you (photos, hours, services, wording).

2. Changes before launch

Before launch we'll make reasonable changes to wording, photos, colors and sections until you're happy with it. Completely new designs or additional pages beyond the original scope can be quoted separately.

3. The monthly plan ($50/month)

Hosting, a secure (https) connection and regular backups.
Small updates whenever you need them: hours, prices, photos, services, text. We aim to make them within 2 business days.
Billed monthly to the card you pay with. The first month is charged together with the $750 build fee.

4. Your web address (domain)

We can use a web address you already own, or help you register one in your business's name. Domain registration fees (usually $10-20 a year) are separate unless we agree otherwise. The domain belongs to you.

5. Ownership

Your business name, logo, photos, text and other content you provide remain yours. Once the build fee is paid, the design of your site is licensed to you for as long as you use it. If you cancel, we'll send you a copy of your site's files and content on request.

6. Cancelling

You can cancel the monthly plan anytime by emailing us. Hosting continues through the end of the month you've paid for, then the site is taken offline (or handed over to you, see above). The build fee is non-refundable once your site has gone live; if you cancel before we start building, we'll refund it in full.

7. Payments

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. If a monthly payment fails, we'll let you know; if it isn't resolved within 30 days, we may take the site offline until it is.

8. Responsibilities

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us and for having the rights to any photos or content you send. We'll keep your site running and secure, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service or specific search rankings, calls or sales. Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the previous 12 months.
